Hi my name is Amy Purcell. I am 23 years old. I started in Rainbow Brite Montessori School as a Classroom assistant in January 2008 after trying for years to get a job. My friends’ auntie owns the school and she offered me the position. I work three days a week. I work between the two Montessori classrooms and the pre-school class. I love working with the children and helping them with their daily tasks,such as colour matching games, shape sorting, pegging
and jigsaws. I also assist the Montessori teacher with presentations. I help out Arts and Crafts classes, RE. and music and movement classes. I assist the fun and games in the outdoor play area. I play and have fun with the children while working as a staff member in Rainbow Brite Montessori School. I also do in house training alongside the other staff members,such as First -Aid and Fire Drill.
